Paul Brand to Host JUNO Songwriters’ Circle 2016

Paul Brand to host the JUNO Songwriters' Circle 2016.

Paul Brandt will be hosting JUNO Songwriters’ Circle 2016 co-presented by SOCAN and Yamaha Canada Music on Sunday, April 3 at noon at the Jack Singer Concert Hall in Calgary!

Paul Brand is currently the most awarded male Canadian country artist in history. His 11 career albums have spawned hit singles, multiple Album of the Year awards, gold, platinum, and multi-platinum performances. His #5 and #1 charting songs “My Heart Has A History”, and “I Do” were the first songs to chart stateside by a male Canadian Country artist since Hank Snow 20 years earlier in 1974. Brandt went on to receive BMI Million-Play Awards, and is well-known for his energetic performances on-stage, as well as his philanthropic work off-stage.

JUNO Songwriters’ Circle brings together some of the most talented Canadian singer-songwriters, sharing songs and stories on stage in an intimate event where songwriters share the stories behind the music.

The list of performers at this year’s JUNO songwriters Circle  will include Alan Doyle, Alex Cuba, Autumn Hill, Matthew Good, Old Man Luedecke, Ria Mae and Paul Brandt as the host

The Proceeds benefit MusiCounts, Canada’s music education charity, and tickets will go on sale January 15 at 10 am MST.
