Country artists Jared Porter and Kaylee Bell have won the grand prize in the 2015 Unsigned Only Competition for their song “Pieces.” The Unsigned Only Competition recognizes the best up-and-coming artists worldwide and provides a benchmark for excellence in contemporary music. This year the winners were selected from about 7,000 entries from all over the world representing many musical genres in contemporary music.
The competition’s Founders Candace Avery, and Jim Morgan stated that “This year, the winners impressed the judges with their passion, creativity, energy, and artistry… [and] embody the future of music… we hope that the recognition they receive through Unsigned Only gives them the inspiration and ammunition to keep growing as artists and succeed in attaining their goals.”
Their prize includes $10,000 in cash, $20,000 in merchandise and services, and mentoring by top record company executives, A&R reps, and more.
“We are so incredibly honored and blown away to have won this award,” said Jared and Kaylee. “We both are so proud of our song “Pieces” and will use this achievement for the better.”
