The Tough Love EP
Ana Cristina Cash released “The Tough Love EP” just last week and we cannot get enough of it! The EP is full of classic references, strong vocals, and tons of attitude. Track by track, Ana’s vocals deliver power and enthusiasm to a female character throughout the length of the entire EP. Ana is undoubtedly a newly emerging powerhouse.
The EP was a work established in The Cash Cabin, and historic and possibly haunted location in the famed Music City. Johnny Cash was the previous owner up until John Carter Cash took over. With Ana, they wrote and engineered Ana’s debut onto the country music scene. John Carter Cash helped Ana create an engaging sound of her own that so very eloquently reflects on sounds of the past.
The Tough Love EP has hints of soul, rockabilly, and country that all perfectly intertwine. The EP serves as a display of Ana’s increasingly impressive vocal range.
