Deric Ruttan brought his signature country twang tonight for the opening night of the Sound of Music Festival.
Held in Burlington, Ontario, Canada, the free yearly festival hosts the best in Canadian music. The other artists that joined Ruttan onstage tonight included Leah Daniels and Chad Brownlee.
Ruttan’s set included country favorite “Don’t It Feel Good” and the more hard-rocking number “Black Betty,” among others. A bit of rain came in to try to interrupt his set, but that didn’t stop him from showing the dedicated crowd a good time.
The festival continues Friday through Sunday, with performances by The Tea Party, Shad, David Wilcox and more. There will also be carnival rides, vendors, and various other activities.
