Caitlyn Shadbolt’s ‘My Breakup Anthem’ Hits #1 5th Week in a Row

Caitlyn Shadbolt now celebrates 5 weeks at #1 on the National Australian Country Music Radio Chart this week with her smash hit single ‘My Breakup Anthem’! This is off the back of peaking this week at #1 on the CMC Top 30 Chart and follows on from her #1 album on the iTunes Country Albums chart, her #1 ARIA Country Album debut and her #1 spot on the Kix Hottest 20 Chart.

Thanks to the support of fans and radio stations who have been behind the single since its release, ‘My Breakup Anthem’ has become Caitlyn’s biggest single so far and is taken from her recently released debut album ‘Songs On My Sleeve’.

This week the video for ‘My Breakup Anthem’ reach #1 on the CMC chart. The video for the infectious single shows a strong and independent Caitlyn having a whole lot of fun!

Caitlyn said today, “I know it has been a while since I released music so I thought people would be excited to hear new songs from me. However I had no idea it would be received this well! The support from country radio and CMC has been overwhelming. It’s so nice to have people appreciate a song I’ve written myself and respect the direction I want to take with my music.”

A special acoustic version of ‘My Breakup Anthem’ has also now been released, and you can listen to it here.

Born and raised in Gympie Queensland, 21-year-old Caitlyn grew up immersed in music. A naturally gifted singer, accomplished guitar player and dynamic live performer, Caitlyn has all the qualities that form the basis of a credible and long-lasting career in music.

‘Songs On My Sleeve’ is a personal album for Caitlyn Shadbolt, who spent time in her hometown, Sydney, Nashville and Bali penning the songs. Produced with Andrew Cochrane (Veronicas), it’s an album of love, friends and relationship breakups but ultimately delivers some very positive messages.
