Amanda-Rose Hill is possibly the world’s first Asian female Country artist. Named after her parent’s birthplace ‘Rose Hill’ in Mauritius, but equally sharing the name with Rose Hill in Tennessee (the birth state of Country music) Amanda has a great interest and passion for the genre, which comes out in her powerful, emotional performances.
Amanda has performed previously on UK television and stage and was a finalist in the television show ‘Pop Stars’ from which she was able to expand her repertoire. As an accomplished performer in musical theatre, her previous roles have previously included Maria / Anita (West Side Story) and Gigi (Miss Saigon) amongst many others.
Amanda has been developing an original album of Country music that shows off her fantastic singing voice and range. The album was part recorded in Nashville for authenticity.
Amanda is currently looking for record company representation and support from radio, television and printed media organisations to help put British country music on the map.
